MY STORY, MY DESTINY
"Around the 40s" my family started an innovative craft atelier, in the center of Bologna, producing and selling perfumes, creams, precious porcelain accessories, much appreciated at that time. My family was among the first participants at an international trade fair: the Cosmoprof, held in Bologna.
Since I was a child, I played with the essences in the laboratory below and attended my aunt’s perfumery accompanying her to presentations of iconic brands such as Chanel, Guerlain, Dior..
When I was young I gave birth to a dream: I wanted to make perfumes and cosmetics that represented my ideas.
MY CREATIONS
Over time I realized that great results are achieved by building bridges between people. I studied and gained so much experience in the laboratory and in the family cosmetics company that since 1948 took the name of Rolland. By experimenting and building complex fragrances and formulas I have learned to interpret the deepest olfactory and aesthetic desires of people and translate them into high value artifacts.
As a biologist, anthropologist and cosmetologist I studied and deepened the different extraction techniques, composed fragrances and perfumes for the person and the environment with the use of botanicals and refined ingredients. I have created complex cosmetic projects with a timeless identity.
In 30 years of work I have created fine eau de parfum, structured olfactory architectures for places and events, broad-ranging conceptual beauty products, botanical cosmetics and eco-sustainable. My work has been proposed internationally in fashion stores, beauty salons, luxury hotels, perfumeries and concept stores and I have collaborated with brands such as Fendi, Sephora, Tommy Hilfiger, La Rinascente.
MY COMMITMENT TO THE COSMETICS WORLD
I co-created training courses such as the first
European Master of Cosmetic Marketing
at Polimoda in Florence and taught at the University of Cosmetology in Ferrara; I was a member of the Board of Unindustria Bologna and President of the Chemical and related sector.
In recent years I have studied the effects of dynamized water in cosmetic formulas and, thanks to collaboration with serious professionals, passionate, prepared and creative I developed the principle of moleclular dynamization, unique in the cosmetic formulation, because it allows the ingredients to act in a new way and express their effectiveness optimally.
